Geography
Crayssau sports a variety of climates, including deserts, forests, highlands, and grasslands. To the western region of the nation are hot deserts, though not quite as unbearable as Midagarian deserts. Deserts eventually taper into gentle grasslands and forests near the central region. More eastern and southern, the forests thicken into rainforests, which sport some of the most diverse fauna and flora in Amaris. Although quite humid, the rainforests are very popular with Crayssaurians, and it's common to find treetop villages scattered amongst rainforest roads and routes. Towards the southern islands, Crayssau has speckles of more mountainous regions diving directly into crystalline lakes. This are of Crayssau is most popular to residents. The southern region also has many popular trade ports, mostly with access to Burugolia. It's also one of the most thickly populated nations due to its livable and beautiful environment, as well as its growing innovations in technology.
Culture
Crayssaurians are pretty laid back and open to outsiders, but they like to play pranks on unsuspecting froads, so you should watch your back just in case! Most of them become gatherers and hunters but ones with crafty hands often take interest in carpentry. They're responsible for many inventions and tools like monoculars and compasses.
Because of the thick forests indicative of their home, Crayssaurians gather in smaller villages rather than large cities. Since Crayssau is so admired among other nations, these villages are occupied by all kinds of froads, and diversity is at an all-time-high despite their smaller villages.
The cuisine of Crayssau is know for its use of fresh fruit, vegetables and nuts. You can find a variety of salads and veggie roasts served in stalls in villages or near popular beaches. Some dishes also use fish and meat, but the refreshing ingredients directly from the earth are often preferred because of the hot and humid weather.
Oftentimes, they build their houses on trees, which are connected to other buildings with platforms or hanging bridges. If they decide to build on land, wood, vines and hay are the go-to materials.
Local Attire
Crayssaurians value comfort more than anything, thin and breathable fabrics are great for the hot weather all year round. You can often spot them wearing short, loose pants and sleeveless tops. Sometimes they also add bandanas or capes to protect them from the sun.
While their clothes may be simple, they enjoy complementing them with various types of jewelery. Different metals and gemstones are used to create beautiful ornaments with complex patterns.
Leg or arm protection is also pretty common. Leather and wood is used to create light armor.
Most fabrics are dyed with different shades of red or green, but a good portion retains it's original shades.
