Amberdimes are the primary currency of the group. They can be bought ($1=1Amberdime) and earned through events. Amberdimes can not only purchase FroadsPond items but MYOs too (and some members even accept them as forms of payment for art commissions or character trades.) Shards are the secondary currency of the group. They cannot be bought but are earned through Shard Prompts, which has new prompts monthly. You can use Shards to buy mutation traits to use on your Froads from Batra's Lab, which opens roughly every other month. Event Points are the time-sensitive tertiary currency of the group. Points are usually earned during specific events and only for a limited time, and must be used to purchase whatever things are up for sale during that event within a certain time frame (most of the time, that's traits.)

 

In terms of events, we host a wide variety of events allowing you to earn rewards and participate in the group. Our Gift Art Event is always open and allows you to earn Amberdimes regardless of whatever else we have running. We have everything from lore-based events to mini-events. All of our events can give different rewards, from Amberdimes to Shards to Traits and even sometimes free designs and MYOs.

On our Discord is also a gift art event called Featured Froad (FF). FF features one Froad per two weeks, allowing members to drawn the FF for Amberdimes. When submitting their entry for FF, members are able to nominate their own Froads (or their friends' Froads) for the next FF, and at the end of two weeks, a new FF is rolled! FF isn't always open, and usually closes when we have other events open.

Froad MYO Slots open as listed on the MYO Sales journal to both FTOs and AOs. Outside of MYOs, admins create adoptables irregularly, and hire on Guest Artists for events or for slow periods in the FroadsPond schedule.
